Carissa's Senior Photos

I think I've said it before but I will say it again.....I just LOVE working with high school seniors!

Carissa wanted something a little different for her Senior Pictures so I suggested what I thought would be the perfect location.  As soon as she heard railroad tracks she was sold!  I have done a couple of photo shoots at this location and was super excited to be working there again. I love the railroad tracks and the bridge.  About 10 seconds after the above photo was taken we heard the whistle so we immediately jumped off the tracks.  Not long after we saw the train coming around the turn.  It was pretty much perfect timing because I just had told her that if she sees a train coming behind me to please tell me before I get run over!  =)

Carissa is an artist so we hit it off really well and had so much fun talking about everything that her photo session flew past super fast.  Before we knew it we were losing the light and had to wrap up.  We ended up with some pretty amazing photos.

Family Photos at Talleyrand

A few weeks ago I got the opportunity to work with one of my favorite families again...in one of my favorite parks.  It really doesn't get much better than that!

This little guy has so much energy and has the ability to find fun in everything.  He always keeps me laughing.

Talleyrand park is in Bellefonte and the home to probably around 100 or so ducks.  Springtime is awesome because there are baby ducks everywhere.  He really loved watching them swim behind their mama and we even got to see a couple of ducks go down over the waterfall.

Talleyrand also has 2 train cars that are permanent residents at the park and they usually offer some pretty cool photo opportunities...especially if you have a conductor's hat!

It's pretty much the perfect park for family photos!  Enjoy!

SPCA's Pet Expo Recap

Lycoming County SPCA's Pet Expo

The Lycoming County SPCA's Pet Expo was this past Sunday on June 2.  A huge thank you goes out to everyone that stopped by our booth and said "Hi!".

We had two tables set up with a variety of samples of our work.  This included 2 large display boards filled with photos, 1 small display board with samples of our sports photos, various framed prints, photo books, trading cards and more.  My dog A.J. even stopped by the booth for a couple of hours and greeted visitors.  She is a Lycoming County SPCA "alumni", we adopted her last November.  She was a huge hit and the workers from the SPCA loved seeing her and how well she is doing.  It was pretty hot and she took up residence in the shade under one of the tables with her head sticking out from under the table cover watching people go by.

We had a drawing for a free 2 hour on location photo session and since we had a lot of interest we decided to pull a few extra names for $20 off a 2 hour session.  Congratulations to all of our winners!

With school winding down and summer gearing up it's time to think about family portraits!

Right now we are booking for July and August.  June is already full and August is about half booked at this point.  Check your schedule and give us a call or e-mail to schedule your session today!
